More like Harry Potter and the Endless Chore List.

I will confess that I am a full-grown adult and I love the Harry Potter series. I've read each book multiple times, I know the difference between an owl and an O.W.L., and I know that if you accept a position as Defense Against the Dark Arts instructor at Hogwarts you can expect to be around for less time than a red shirted guy on Star Trek or a drummer for Spinal Tap. I even like the movies... a lot.

Harry is, what... seventeen now? Isn't it time he used his magic to get chicks back to the cupboard under the stairs?

The Harry Potter games, on the other hand, have left a little something to be desired. Even taking the titles' target audience into consideration, the games based on the Harry Potter franchise have all pretty much sucked.

In the case of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the game based on the fourth installment in the series of films, that suckage is a bit of a travesty because it comes wrapped around a game that could have been pretty good.

Moments like these are actually exciting... but they're few and far between.

To get the bad points out of the way, this game is just boring. Harry may have the potential to be the greatest wizard who ever lived, but in this game he uses his considerable skills mostly to tidy up around school and find the occasional missing student. There are some minigames that are a fun diversion (Wizard Chess is especially cool but suffers from some really pathetic AI), but the player will spend most of her time sweeping up messes, repairing fallen vases, and doing other completely mundane tasks that would be much more suited to a Muggle custodian than to the famous Boy Who Lived.
