Another expectedly solid title from EA. Unfortunately, a few faults keep it from true greatness.
In the current era of gaming, the World War II franchise is dead. With enough games to span across oceans, it had its time and place, and will never be forgotten. Thus comes the greatest shame that Airborne, the newest iteration of the Medal of Honor series, be one of the best.
All the stops were pulled out for Airborne, where developer EA jam packed it with every function and ability that should have been in the series at least three years ago. If not for a few setbacks, this would have been the best WW2 shooter since the genre started over ten years ago.

The biggest change is in the title. Priorities are based around jumping out of a plane and deciding where to land, which is both exciting and haunting. With a little practice, landing atop strategically placed buildings and courtyards can make the most difficult missions into simple skirmishes, and vice versa.
There is great beauty in this ability to choose how and where to land. However, the enemy AI seems to have the training of Team Rainbow on normal difficulty. They can snipe with SMG’s from around 50 feet with no effort. The general weapons fire is very difficult to get correct aim, as is expected from a WW2 title, so this unfair advantage is out of place.
