Hungry while gaming? No need to call the pizza boy, here are several easy and tasty recipes designed to keep you in the game as long as possible.

Gamers are not known for being gourmets. Eating is like all other bodily functions – a distraction from the screen, something to be avoided or cleverly thwarted, hence the invention of the seat refrigerator. Although, with the popularity of the Cooking Mama series some gamers are eager to do a little chopping and slicing in real life. That, or playing the game made them hungry and sad that their culinary masterpieces belong squarely in the virtual world, and not in their tummies. For Shame!

In the spirit of foods that gamers will appreciate for their convenience, their balance of nutrition to great taste, and their effectiveness at staving off hunger through that last level, I present to you the top recipes for gamers.

Getting Started

-The Game Fuel “Manmosa”
-1 part orange juice
-2 parts gamefuel (citrus cherry preferred)
-1 part red bull soda
Mix all ingredients into a glass and gulp – don’t sip. Prep time: 15 seconds
This twist on the favorite breakfast drink combines orange juice for much-needed vitamins and hyper-caffeinated official drink of Halo 3 for... solidarity. And stimulant.

The Game Fuel “Manmosa”: spike at your risk.

-The Cereal Mix
-1 cup sugary cereal, any variety
-1 cup cereal with fruit bits
-1 cup cereal with chocolate/marshmallows
Mix all contents in a bowl and add milk, if desired. Prep time: 30 seconds. 20 if you’ve consumed enough game fuel Manmosas. Be warned that adding milk will decrease the convenient “I can just rest this on my lap” factor of other fare, especially if playing with motion controls.
